In a heartwarming gesture, the wife of the Commissioner of Works, Honourable Mary Pius, recently hosted a Yuletide celebration for the women of Akamkpa at her residence. The event was a deliberate effort to foster peace, harmony, and cooperation among the women of Akamkpa Local Government Area.

During the celebration, over 30 women took turns to inspire and motivate their fellow women on the importance of cooperation and unity. The gathering provided a platform for the women to share their experiences, challenges, and successes, thereby strengthening their bond and promoting a sense of communities 

The vice president of APC south, Honourable TITY NDIFON, who was also in attendance, used the opportunity to inspire the women of Akamkpa, emphasizing the need for peace and unity in their community. Her words of encouragement and motivation resonated deeply with the women, who left the celebration feeling empowered and committed to working together for the betterment of Akamkpa
